What is NFL32 Picks?
This game is about picking teams who you think will win every week during the NFL season. It is a bit more than straight up picks, where you pick teams against a point spread. A point spread in sports is a way for oddsmakers to make a matchup between two unbalanced teams more balanced by giving points to or taking points away from each team.
The favorite in a matchup, indicated by a minus (-) sign, will have a given number of points taken away from its final score, while the underdog, known by its plus (+) sign, will have the same number of points added to its final score.

Rules
Every week during the NFL season, log in to the site if needed, click the “Weekly Picks” tab and select teams you think will win. This is a spread pick so you win the pick if the team you selected wins with or more spread points OR you pick the projected losing team to win and that team wins the game.

For example:
Miami Dolphins (MIA) play New England Patriots (NE) where Patriots are favorite by 3.5 points;

-If you pick NE and NE wins the game (covers) by 4 points or more you win the pick.
-If NE wins the game by less than 4 points, you lose the pick.
-If MIA wins the game, you lose the pick.
-If you pick MIA and MIA wins the game, regardless of the points’ differential, you win the pick.
-If the game ends in a tie, you lose the pick if you chose the favorite (did not cover in this case) – sorry, no ties in this league

Rankings
Each player ranking is determined by a number of points, where each regular season game win equals 1 point. Playoffs' wins have higher points as shown in the Ranking Page. At the end of the football season (after the SuperBowl) the player with the most number of points, is the winner. The final tie breaker is determined by best single week picks (or Pick Ratio for that week).

For example:
If Mike and Jane both end the season with 150 points (139-128 record)– if Mike’s best week record is 12-4 (75% Pick Ratio) and Jane’s best week record is 13-3 (81% Pick Ratio), then Jane wins the tie breaker.

Weekly rankings 'tie breaker' is determined by closest combined total score (over or under) of the last game for any given week such Monday night game.

Pools
You can organize a group of players into one Pool. You can create a pool, join a pool or do both. If you create a "private" pool, you need to distribute the pool's password to players you want to join your pool. Similarly, you need a password to join a private pool. You can join public pools without any requirements. You may leave any pool any time. Each pool has its own "smack board" where players in that pool can exchange comments and taunts.

The site facilitates the games, spreads, scores, and rankings. It is up to each pool to determine a prize or bragging rights week to week or over the entire season.

Week to Week Picks
You may change your pick for any game up until the time that game is locked. Games are locked 5 minutes prior to the start of each game. Once a game is locked, you may not change your pick for it.

You may hide your picks, however, once scheduled games start, all (hidden) picks will be shown. Also, once games scores are finalized, picks results (wins or losses) will be displayed and players’ overall ranking will be updated as well showing players, in real time, current week ranking and overall ranking.

Missed picks mean less chances to win; however, players have the opportunity to make/update their picks before the start of each game. For example, you missed making picks for the 1:00PM games on a given Sunday; you will still have the opportunity to make your picks for the 4:00PM, 8:20PM Sunday games and the Monday night game.

The site allows players to look at prior weekly picks and ranking. Using “Smack Board”, players can add comments and taunts – all in clean and respectful fun.
